Goldie Hawn has been blessed with a highly successful career and a beautiful family, and now she’d like to bring both of those things together.
The 78-year-old visited the Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa podcast on June 19th and revealed that she’d like to film a movie with her family. Goldie is a mother to three, including Kate Hudson, Wyatt Russell, and Oliver Hudson. Her longtime partner, Kurt Russell, also has a son, Boston Russel, from a former relationship.
“What I would love, actually, before we all get, you know, too old, [it] would be so great to do a movie together. Wouldn’t it?” she asked. “It would be so fun and so crazy, and oh my God.”
Goldie and Kurt are Hollywood royalty with dozens of awards between them. Their four kids are also working actors, which means a movie would not only be fun for them but also for fans.
Goldie Hawn Reveals Plans For A Family Project
After Kelly Ripps asked why she hadn’t set the plan in motion, Goldie admitted that she still needed two things—a writer and her family’s permission. Kelly had a plan that would help bypass the latter.
“Here’s how it goes,” she said. “You tell them you’re having a party for Kurt. What they don’t realize is it’s a party scene for the opening of the movie. So they just all arrive. And then after the first scene is shot, surprise, surprise.”
Goldie Hawn wasn’t completely sold on the idea. But she did admit that her family has been talking about doing a different project together that could eventually lead to a full-length Russell-Hawn production.
“We might do something with Oliver that is a cartoon,” she shared. “So, in other words, we would all be the voices of that. That would be a lot of fun.”
